This is the first DVD ever offered by SevereChase. The DVD contains some of the highlight events from the 2007 & 2008 Seasons. The DVD contains primarily chopped up raw footage, though there are a couple time lapses mixed in as well. All video on the DVD was shot originally in HD with a Sony HC3, though in order to fit all the video on to the DVD the video is compressed into SD format. This DVD may not appeal to those who strictly enjoy steady tripoded shots; much of the footage was filmed in intense/difficult situations and is often shaky. For those who can handle occasional less than professional video work, what the DVD does offer is an introduction to what it’s like to be up close and personal with some of the plains most intense weather. The DVD contains footage of EF-0, EF-1, EF-2, EF-3 and even EF-4 tornadoes. Video close enough that you can hear the roar of the tornado as it passes near me, watch video with multiple tornadoes on the ground near my location, one on each side of the road, there is also video of an encounter with Baseball sized hail. The action is pretty non-stop, for a large majority of the 100+ minutes on the DVD you will be seeing nothing but tornadoes. The dates below are the highlights of the DVD….

May 22nd 2008 - Over 5 tornadoes including Multi-vortex, Wedge, Cone and Barrel Tornadoes from as close as a couple hundred yards
May 23rd 2008 – Multiple distant Tornado encounters including an EF-4 near Quinter KS
May 25th 2008 – Brief tornado and funnels as well as a Land Spout near La Crosse KS
May 29th 2008 – Video from Kearney as Tornado was reeking havoc on the North Side of Town, then close encounters with Morphing tornadoes as they cross Glen Elder Dam in KS
