I-70 Wedge Fest Day Two

May 23rd

After the Day I had on 5/22 (See that Chase Account) I thought it would be tough to top, Friday came really close to doing just that. After ending the 22nd and spending the night in Holderage NE, I ended up meeting up with Sean and Katie McMullen along with Jeff and Kathryn Piotrowski, this day I just ended up jumping in with Sean and Katie. We jumped on the first storm SW of Wakeney. We tracked the storm North to I-70 where it put down a massive Barrel tornado (rated and EF-4). After that tornado we followed the storm north of I-70 where we witnessed two more tornadoes, though both were relatively weak. After those two tornadoes we again dropped south to I-70 to catch the next storm crossing I-70, we then saw a second large Wedge move across I-70, both of these tornadoes crossing I-70 just barely missed the town of Quinter. After filming that tornado cross I-70 we again dropped south to the Next storm. It was about this point I jumped in the Truck with Jeff Piotrowski and we attempted to get a better view of the wrapped in rain meso. Eventually we got a decent view SW of Cedar Bluff Lake and Jeff and I witnessed yet another wedge tornado albeit wrapped in rain. Provided that we ran out of road options we had to drop South for a while then We then quickly got East and continued North towards the City of Ellis, there we witnessed another tornado at night with significant power flashes, we did note light damage on the South side of Ellis.
