Chased with Sean Katie McMullen, targeted the I-80 corridor between Omaha and Des Moines; we were a little upset by the happenings in E NE which was right in our backyard, but kept faith in original target. The first wave of storms started to form in S IA so we dropped south to get a look, at that point storms looked pretty disorganized. But we stuck with one and eventually it became tornado warned, however we noticed that a new wave was forming and that it had a better chance to give us a show, so we droped back south and just as we intercepted the storm it to became torndo warned. Actually upon arrival is when the storm looked its best, though for sure we were witnessing tornado development as real strong rotation developed. After that point the storm continued but never could really get its act togther as it struggled with the cold air inflow. Our chase ended as we managed to find a soft shoulder.
