Random Pictures from back in the Timber...
Feb. 5th
Just sold my 17-70mm lens, as I want to upgrade to something a little wider (likely the 10-20mm) so the only option in my camera bag was the Canon 55-250mm, this is a new lens for me, and while it’s one of their cheaper lenses, I really like it. The IS (image stabilization) really helps when shooting wildlife. I already miss the wide angle though, and I need to get my 10-20 ordered soon rather than later…
While she was never real excited about me being there, she stuck around long enough for me to get a variety of shots.
Here they actually touched noses, I had the lens set just a little to slow and the squirrels quick movement caused it to blur, as soon as the deer made contact with the squirrel it was gone in no time.

Eventually She had enough

With the warm temps and soft ground there are animal tracks everywhere.
The melting ice and beaver Dams made for some cool scenes, this is where I really needed the wide angle lens.
Just some old Farm equipment back in the timber..
